We may yet see what passes for the Democratic Process in this country
dissolve in the obsession with "spin", instant, knee-jerk reaction to
events and the corrosive effect of sleaze.
By the way, does anyone think that state funding (i.e taxpayers money) for
political parties would not lead to "snouts in trough" big-time? If any
jumped-up candidate could take our tax money, and not be accountable to us
at all - even if elected - see above - why should they not grab all they
can?
